Inspired by the medieval era, the themed gardens of Domaine de l’Abbaye cover 4 hectares at the foot of the long Romanesque nave of the Abbey Church. They feature various spaces, including herb gardens, vegetable gardens, aromatic plants, fragrant roses, remarkable lime tree, fishpond, and more.
It currently houses:
– The Tourism Office,
– Three Escape Game rooms,
– A tea room,
– A shop selling local products.
The building was constructed in the 15th century by the monks of the Abbey to store the tithes, which were a tenth of the peasants’ produce paid to the monks in kind.
Free and self-guided visit to the gardens: Open daily, all year round, from 10 am to 6 pm (via the black automatic gate on Rue de l’Abbaye, at the square level).
Our four-legged friends are allowed on a leash in the gardens; please remember to clean up after them if necessary.
